1976 - 1977 1st Design Vettes require the use of a Starter Solenoid Extension Harness to Complete Wiring to Starter.

1977 2nd Design -1979 Vettes require the use of a Starter Motor Extension Harness to Complete Wiring to Starter.

(1977 1st design has alarm switch located in driver side fender. 2nd design has alarm switch integrated into the door lock cylinder on the drivers side door.)
